Desperate Mom asks Donald Trump for help after airline wouldn't allow her sick 3-year-old on board

A boy, named Andrew Ten, suffered from an unknown breathing condition and needed to travel to New York City from Los Angeles for immediate help.
According to the family, Andrew's health was fine until he was 10 months old - when, all of a sudden, he stopped breathing and had to be rushed to the hospital. Another incident like this happened a few months later, and the family desperately looked for answers. They spent the next two years searching for the cause and seeking treatment at any hospital that could help their son.
Andrew's breathing took a turn for the worse. The Tens knew they needed to rush him to the only facility equipped to handle a mystery case like this: the Schneider Children's Hospital of Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
The only problem was finding a way to get there from Los Angeles.
Every single major commercial airline the Ten family called wouldn't allow Andrew on the plane due to the extensive equipment he needed to have on the plane with him - Andrew required items like an oxygen tank, suction machine and an adrenaline syringe.
That's when the Tens had an idea.
The family reached out to Donald Trump and asked for his help. Andrew's father, Harold, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency exactly the response he got from the billionaire.
"Mr. Trump did not hesitate when we called him up. He said, ‘Yes, I'll send my plane right out.' He has five children of his own and he knows what being a parent is all about."
Andrew was rushed onto Trump's private jet and whisked away to New York City where he received emergency treatment.
Trump's generous actions touched every member of the Ten family. Without offering up his private plane, there was a chance that Andrew would pass. Feigy Ten, Andrew's grandmother, was one of those who was shocked by the kindness Trump showed her family without blinking an eye.
This gift was just the gesture the Ten family had been praying for!
Since arriving at the medical facility in New York, the Tens said that they remained hopeful for this full recovery and they are incredibly thankful for Trump's help.
"We are determined to do anything possible to save Andrew. We believe in God and we have hope."
