When your child is sick, there's nothing that you wouldn't do to ease their pain and suffering! It's one of the most vulnerable and helpless feelings you get as a parent.
That feeling is amplified tenfold when the diagnosis is cancer....
Unfortunately for Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana, they know that feeling all too well. The young couple took their eldest son, Noah, into the hospital after they were concerned about him contracting the mumps. During the hospital visit, doctors broke some unexpected news to the family.
Michael shared the doctor's diagnosis with his Facebook followers:
"We are devastated about the recent diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children."
This news absolutely shattered their hearts - but they vowed to remain strong!
Their son's recovery is the most important thing right now, and they made that clear in Michael's Facebook post. Noah's recovery is going to take all of their time, attention and devotion.
"Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy."
There is a silver lining in the midst of all of this heartbreak and chaos - and it was delivered during one of Noah's most recent doctor's appointments....
According to the Mirror UK, the Bublés were told Noah's chance of survival is expected to be near 90 percent! Luisana's sister told reporters Noah has form of liver cancer that is extremely treatable and the prognosis is excellent.
As for now, the family is ready to fight with him every step of the way.
"We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."
This news is the best Christmas present the Bublé family could ever ask for! We're all wishing them a Merry Christmas, and a speedy recovery for Noah!
