Young Man Rude To New Mother, Man's Father Puts Him In His Place

As mothers and fathers, we all know what it is like to take an infant baby to a restaurant. No matter how hard we try, sometimes we just can't keep the baby as quiet as the other patrons would like them to be.
Most people are understanding, that is unless they themselves have never had a baby before.
A U.K. new mother, Lucy Hatami, decided to take her eight-month-old baby out in public for one of the few first times. While she was out and about with her baby, she stopped by a restaurant to grab something to eat. She didn't want to grab a fast food meal, and so she went to a sit down restaurant.
During her visit to the restaurant, like most often babies do, her son began crying. We all know that high pitched crying noise babies make when they are fussy. Although she was trying to get him to be quiet, it wasn't working. Then came the glares from the other patrons at the tables who were trying hard to eat in peace and quiet.
Embarrassed, Lucy was trying to think of other ways she could help calm her son down. Then she heard a young twenty-year-old sitting nearby utter the most mortifying words:
"I wish she'd shut that thing up!"
Although his words hurt her feelings, Lucy realized that she also wanted to respond to the man to defend her baby boy. However, someone else stepped in and defended her baby for her...
The man's father stood up and said something totally unexpected. He grabbed his son by the ears and firmly said:
"What and you think you were perfect? You were a right little sod. Now, stop being a brat, go up there and apologize to her, and offer to get her breakfast as she clearly has her hands full!"
After the father showed a firm talking to, the young man got up, grabbed Lucy food from the buffet, and even got her a coffee, all while giving her waiter service.
Even twenty years later, the young man's father still remembered how difficult caring for a baby is. Luckily he was humble and still parented his adult son by putting him in his place.
Once you are a parent, you are always a parent, for the rest of your life, no matter how old your children grow up to be. We admire what the father did for new mother, Lucy and her son.
